From Gregg Whitfield – The Nationals are being played in Indian Wells at an incredible facility. 2500 players and watching the top pros up close is great. Won the Bronze in the 65+ 5.0 division.

From GW – Western Regionals in Claremont had over 700 entrees. Big tournament because it is a qualifier for the 2019 Nationals and Gold medal winners get to pre register for the Nationals. That’s good because I won the trifecta, Singles, Mixed, and Men’s Doubles in the 60+, 5.0 divisions.

From Gregg Whitfield – The West Regionals are a qualifying tournament for the 2020 Nationals and winning the Gold guarantees your registration. I was asked to play with two of the top players in the 65+ Men’s and Mixed which is a major accomplishment in itself. From Gregg Whitfield – Won 2 Gold medals in the Men’s Doubles with 44 teams and the Mixed with 77 teams. Never seen a tournament with larger draws.

Oh my, Ruth is now a medal winner as she won a Gold in the tournament at Templeton Tennis Ranch on Mother’s Day.

From Gregg Whitfield – Won the Bronze in the Singles and today accomplished a goal to win a Gold at the U.S. Open. Won the Mixed in the 65+ division which had some really good players. From Gregg Whitfield – Gold in Men’s 65+. The amazing point is being asked to play with Jim Hackenberg, who has many National titles and too many medals to count. And then to get to play against Mark, “Yoda” Friedenberg, who was elected into the first group of Hall of Fame players for pickleball.
